Design Service

Preparing great artwork is hard. But don’t stress. We have our own in-house professional design team that can work with you to produce artwork if required.

Imagery

Great imagery is essential to any campaign and we are happy to take local photos and can create artwork from your notes or a website or Facebook page. All this comes as standard with our usual advertising deals!

Deadline

Deadline for all advertising is Friday afternoon prior to Tuesday print day.

Urgency

While, normal layout costs are included in our advertising rates, we ask you to understand that we are a deadline-driven newspaper, and not a high-end advertising “agency”. Proofs are not for design experimentation; they are intended for information checking. Additional proofs or rebuilds may be subject to extra charges, after two proofs.

Acceptance

The Gazette reserves the right to reject or cancel any advertising which does not conform to the standards of the publication at any time.

Tearsheets/Invoices

Tearsheets and invoices are available upon request.

Agency Rates

To be fair to all advertisers, our rates are non-commissionable.

Preferred Formats

Our preferred format is Adobe Acrobat PDF. These must be high-res (press-optimised) with the fonts embedded. We can also accept the following formats: PSD, TIFF, EPS, JPEG (CMYK, 300dpi). Material Transfer

Email copy and images to tanya@sunshinevalleygazette.com.au or send us a CD, DVD or USB stick. Wetransfer.com is a useful service for large files. Share via Google Drive or Dropbox.

Mechanical Information

Ads are built in modular sizes (fractional). This allows attractive page lay-out and assures the advertiser economical pricing. Sizes conform to 4 columns x 38.5 cm tabloid. Please call for more detailed specifications and file formats.

Errors

Where a serious error occurs we are more than happy to print a correction and refund the ad or repeat the corrected ad at no charge in the following edition. Notification of error must be made within 7 days of publication, please.

Payment

Payment for all advertising is due before publication. Your payment triggers the ad into the paper. A monthly billing account is available with approved credit to permanent advertisers. Payment terms are net 10 days.
