Hot Rods will make a mark at the Maleny Showgrounds on July 6th
Whether you like the chrome, fins, hotrod or vintage look, the Muscle on the Mountain Hotrod Show at the Maleny Showgrounds on July 6thwill guarantee to get your motor
running. The event will not only show off some of Queensland’s best show cars, but the organisers are using the opportunity to raise awareness of Men’s Health, with all proceeds going to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
Prostate Cancer accounts for 30% of the cancers diagnosed in men in Australia every year. Like many cancers, the chances of survival increases following diagnosis, which points to the need for more awareness in the community, especially for older men as risk
increases with age. It’s a day out for the whole family, with something for everyone, (even the non-revheads!), showing all different types of Holden, HSV, Ford, FPV, Muscle Cars
and Street Machines. There’ll be Hotrods, Vintage and Classic cars and motorcycles, and all clubs are welcome. Entry is by gold coin donation and there will be tasty breakfast and lunches served throughout the day.
Display clubs and cars need to arrive together onto the oval by 9:30am, and are required to stay on there until after 1:30pm for safety reasons. Prizes will be announced at a presentation at 1pm and you need to be there to win it, so polish up your bonnet and get your car down to the Maleny Showgrounds.
